            Maintenance Management Services

The procedures for Maintenance of heavy equipment should be matched to the operating risk associated with this equipment. In order to reduce risk, maintenance has to be proactive to prevent problems before failure occurs, and not reactive. TTS believes strongly in the importance of proactive maintenance to ensure minimum downtime, equipment longevity, and most importantly, safety.
General inspection of port equipment includes routine scheduled evaluations, periodic component assessment and data recording, in order to uncover potential hidden failures and locate any lurking problems. rightpane.jpg

  1. Preventative maintenance incorporates condition-monitoring and life-extending tasks to replace components or systems before they fail in order to maximize system operation. Preventative repairs enhance the reliability of the equipment and provide long term benefits including improved system reliability, decreased replacement cost, and decreased downtime.

  2. Corrective maintenance involves the repair or replacement of components which have failed. The failure should be accurately identified in order to reduce or eliminate the frequency of similar events in the future. The methodology for corrective maintenance includes a diagnosis of the problem, repair and resuming proper system operation.

  3. Emergency Maintenance is unexpected by definition and requires immediate attention. When operations are suspended or safety is endangered, emergency maintenance supersedes all other categories of maintenance.
TTS offers maintenance services that cover all of the above-mentioned areas, from preventative to corrective and emergency response maintenance

Maintenance audits are performed in order to verify that procedures and practices are properly being observed. This is done through the evaluation of the existing work flows, backlog management as well as reporting procedures. An assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance procedures is evaluated by verifying the execution of maintenance works and by performing a physical inspection of the equipment to evaluate its condition. The audit on the equipment ensures that all functions are available and properly operating.
